Information we require in order to issue an official tax receipt

When can you expect your tax receipt from donations via bank transfer or Cheque?

For personal donations:

Full name (First name, last name, and initials)

Address

Email for tax receipt

 

For businesses donations:

Official business name

Business address

Email for tax receipt


 

Our accounting team will issue your tax receipt in approximately 30 business days of your donation, or by February 28 of the calendar year that follows the calendar year in which the donation was made.

Who can cheques be addressed to?

DONATION 
OPTIONS

Credit card via CanadaHelps

one-time donations or monthly donations using the CanadaHelps platform.  CanadaHelps will automatically send you a tax receipt through their platform. 

Bank Transfers

most suitable for one time donations.
 

Bank transfers can be made via Interac e-transfer, EFT.  VCFHS Accounting Team will issue a tax receipt and send you via email.

Cheques

most suitable for one time donations.
 

Cheques payable to Victoria Community Food Hub Society and mailed to PO BOX 46002 RPO Quadra Village Victoria BC V8T 5G7.  VCFHS Accounting Team will issue a tax receipt and send you via email.
